20 weird facts about me!

1. My full name is Tamara Denise F. Johnson Parry.  The F. stands for nothing.  This is why I just go by Tamara (said Tuh-mah-ruh) or Tami.  Also, that would be one monster signature.
2. I love all animals and the surest way to make me cry is talking about anything sad to do with animals.  People who share animal abuse stories on facebook get blocked because I'll spend the next week crying over it.  I've actually made people pull off to the side of the road so that I could move an almost dead animal and give it a burial when it died.  
3. Ironically, death of humans doesn't affect me as much.  I have a belief system that allows me to be ok with it, though I still find it incredibly sad.
4. My favorite TV shows are Daria and M*A*S*H.  I own every season of both.  I can watch it daily for years and never tire of it.  Its to the point where DrH can show me three seconds of any episode and I can tell him what episode and the plot.  
5. If I could move myself and everyone I love to New Zealand I would do it in a heartbeat.  Not only does it have mountains, it has beaches as well!  And, it has penguins!  Who doesn't love penguins!
6. I love starting projects, I love having finished projects.  I'm really bad at the in between stage.  
7. I've been in an abusive relationship.  Its made me hyper aware of things that could be considered abuse.  Its also made me incredibly protective of my friends and family.  It also makes me understand why people stay.
8. I've always wanted to adopt from foreign countries.  And domestically to be fair.  Life has only increased my desire to do this.  
9. When I was a child I thought I was black.  I thought the dark skin was a beautiful tan and that one day I would have it too.  I was devastated to find out that I was always gonna burn.  I still am actually.
10. I am comically unable to handle spice.  Mildly spicy food will leave my mouth numb.  I'll eat it anyway.
11. Speaking of food, I love it!  Especially ethnic food.  I've said it once and I'll say it again, if someone were to invite me to eat with them with the caveat that it would Indian/Chinese/Ghanaian/Korean I would seriously never leave their table again.
12. I love owning shoes.  I love buying shoes.  But as soon as I get somewhere my shoes will probably come off.  
13. I'm just a little bit of a hermit.  Given the choice between hanging out at home on my sofa or being around people, I'll pick the sofa.  Its not that people don't interest me, its that I quite prefer the company of my husband and books to that of a mob of people.  
14. I resent being told what to do, by anyone.  That's not particularly unusual but most people don't realize how much I hate it.  Especially when it comes to my home or family.
15. My dog really is my baby.  She's exactly like a toddler, just with fuzzy massive ears and a derpy face.  I feel for her the way most people feel for their actual children.  I will go mamma bear on your butt should I feel that you've threatened her in any way.  
16. I'm sometimes afraid of my temper.  Not because it can explode at others but because it explodes at me.  I tend to internalize way too much.
17. I'm remarkably judgy and no I don't see it as a bad thing.  Mostly because I don't judge based on stupid things like hair or clothes (unless you look like Snookie).  I can offer forgiveness and love time and time again, but if you betray or hurt me once I will never see you the same.  
18. I sometimes think that my cuteness interferes with my message.  I've had people flat out ignore things I've said because they thought I wasn't serious or that I would understand.  By and large, I am serious and don't understand.
19. There are things I've done that still haunt me.  These go back as far as junior high.
20. When I was a child I wanted to join the FBI.  I have no idea what changed but somewhere in there I decided that I liked music more than guns.  I still want a gun though.
